Mannitol is mainly used in pharmaceutical industry for usage as precaution of acte adynamia of kidney function, remedy for glaucoma and dropsy, it can be used as sweet substitute for diabetics and remedy for cerebritis.
It can also be used as stuffing material or formation agent in some medical medical tablets. Mannitol can also be used to synthesize ether nicotinate. In tooth paste it can take the place of glycerol aslol.
Except in brume proof, other quality of tooth paste manufactured by mannitol instead of glycerol such as PH, heat resistance, heat proof stickness, stability are all in conformity with standard.
Mannitol used in other industry:
Synthesizing of mannitol rigid polyurethane foam. Epoxy propane polyether synthesized by mannitol and epoxy propane can be used to produce rigid poly urethane foam which has the following characteristics: high mechanical strength, high heat resistance, better aainst weathering ageing, long sewice life, good foamy formation, stable and even quality of finished products, comparatively low consumption of isooxygenate ester.
Furthermore after being dewatered, mannitol can be synthesized together with oleic ester into mannitol anhydride oleic ester, used as emulsifier, corrosion inhibitor in pestcide, chemical, textile, machinery processing.
